Lap writing Desk or Art box. The lid can be propped open so it can sit on your lap at an angle to make cards or write a letter. In addition, the top can be propped in a more upright position for au plein air painting or on a table top. A pallet is included and can be placed on the top of the box to protect it when drawing or writing. The top is made from book-matched Curly Maple. The body is Walnut with a Brazilian Cherry slide lock. The hinges used can not be seen on the outside of the box adding to it's elegant look. Size: 3.5" tall, 9.5" wide, 10.75" deep.
